Our Day in Front of the Camera

What if we weren’t really recording a new “Meet the Team” feature, and instead I was being set up in some form of welcoming the newbie into the team joke?!  However, I arrived at reception to see a very confused looking receptionist, who couldn’t quite understand why one member of KMP staff had just cycled inside on his mountain bike!  Phew, that sounded about right!
The brief for the feature was to record a short film including most members of the KMP team.  However, rather than film the staff in their everyday work clothes, and create a more serious film, it was decided that staff would dress to their best comedic ability in their most favoured sporting attire.  This varied throughout the team and we had a wide range of sporting disciplines from a sailor, to a person on a pogo-stick, to a hockey player complete with cuts and bruises.  What a sporty lot we all are! 
The filming took place in the board room, and throughout the day KMP staff nervously awaiting their call up.  From the office, I watched different members of the team disappear off and get changed into their sports gear.  Everyone was excited to learn what everyone’s outfits looked like, and how their film shoot had gone.
The eventual outcome of the day’s work should turn into a short film made up of 6 second clips of each member of the team carrying out various different sporting actions in a humorous and comedic fashion.  We wanted to show that marketing can be creative and fun, and doesn’t have to be taken too seriously.  In fact, we’re all a bit mad!
