Vote for Neville!

As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, PR Week is running a competition to find the best blog!

The blog is viewed as one of the most important technological advancements in content distribution of the past 10 years, and as a result the magazine is on the quest to find the best one.Neville Blog logo

The team behind PR Week has selected 16 of its favourite blogs, and has then asked each of the bloggers to nominate another blog to take part in the competition, creating a field of 32 blogs.
One of the chosen blogs is that of Neville Hobson, renowned communicator and podcaster, and a regular speaker at KMP seminars. I first came across Neville after I approached both Brian Solis and Geoff Livingston, highly influential bloggers in the US, looking for a knowledgeable person to speak about social media and PR 2.0 at our seminars.

Both guys recommended Neville very highly, and after speaking at our seminar on Marketing 2.0 last month, we weren’t disappointed! Neville blogs regularly on various topics concerned with business, communication and technology, and will be speaking at KMP’s seminar on Social Media Marketing on the 30th September in London.

Neville is up against the “Daily Lark” blog of Andy Lark, and currently has the majority vote of 60%. There’s just one day left to vote for Neville in this round, so get voting!

The competition is a single elimination tournament, where readers vote for their favourite blog. The tournament will run over 5 weeks, and the first round will see 8 new blogs every Monday and Wednesday. The rules of the competition can be found online.

    (A) Round one – ended Wednesday, August 6, midnight

Digital Influence Mapping Blog defeats Your PR Guy 51% to 49%

Pit Bulls and Labradors defeats PR 2.0 51% to 49% * – The score was knotted 50%-50% at 11:59 EST – the score then went to 51%-49% Pitt Bulls at 12:05 and stayed that way at 12:10, at which time PRWeek called the competition. Unfortunately, a screen grab was taken, but lost in the clipboard shuffle
