Tomorrow is the day that could change the lives of hundreds of students, as Manchester Metropolitan University opens its doors to North West Digital companies to meet what could be their future stars as part of Manchester Digital’s ProDev day.
With this in mind, Bill and I will be heading down to “The Street”, John Dalton Building on Oxford Road (opposite the BBC), putting up our exhibition stand and representing KMP!
The idea is for North West companies to promote the digital sector to current students and graduates, and to attract and retain the talent in the north, rather than letting these rough diamonds slip through our fingers and head to London!
The day itself is an informal Professional Development Day which simply gives students and companies the chance to meet up, do a bit of networking and then socialise over a drink (or two!) at Kro2. This is a great opportunity for the students from MMU Business School and the rest of MMU, the Universities of Manchester and Salford, and Manchester Business School to meet some of the North-West’s best industry professionals. Other companies attending include Code Computer Love, Reading Room, Ten Alps plc and McCann Erikson, to name but a few!
We look forward to seeing you there!
