Manchester Airport’s iPhone app is in the Top 30 most popular free Travel apps in the app store and is downloaded over 7,000 times a month
We have focused on how Manchester Airport could continue to supply their customers with the information they want in a way that suits their current needs. Over 50% of mobile traffic to manchesterairport.co.uk came from iPhones with 220,000 pageviews a month, so it was decided that an iPhone app was the most accessible mobile format for the customers.
The app features real time flight information, maps of each terminal with directions, interactive map of each terminal showing all the facilities and a car park booking system. Following the success of the iPhone app we are now in the process of developing an Android version.
