Milligan wanted a brand new website with a strong visual design where imagery that represented their key values was a main feature. In addition to the design a content management system was installed to allow Milligan to effortlessly and effectively update their site. The site is built with the .NET based Umbraco content management system.

Milligan made its debut into the retail property market with the acquisition of Manchester’s Triangle shopping centre 10 years ago. It is currently seeking sites for new shopping centre-type developments devoted to the home, after a proposed tie-up with German-branded shopping centre operator Stilwerk fell through. The company, which is backed by Richardson Developments and Joe Kaempfer, the driving force behind MacArthurGlen, is also evaluating a development opportunity in Rome and acquisition of a shopping centre in Barcelona.

Milligan believed its old site “lacked certain features” and briefed us to create a replacement that would create “an immediate positive impact” and appeal to a wide range of audiences. The new-look site has been built on the Umbraco CMS platform making it fully content manageable for the client.
