Teenage Cancer Trust

Helping charities to socially engage with their audience

The Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity that has a vision – a future where young people’s lives don’t stop because they have cancer. They make sure they’re treated as young people first and cancer patients second. Everything they do aims to improve their quality of life and chances of survival. We were honoured to support the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Runway on the Runway event, an innovative fashion event in the style of a Prom.

The annual event is held at the stunning Concorde Conference Centre at Manchester airport and includes designs from brands such as Ted Baker, Lipsy and Coast to name a few. On the night we contributed by providing our Twitterfall application – an interactive twitter stream that’s projected onto a large wall or screen and designed in the style of tetris. Users can have their 15 minutes of fame by tweeting the #runway2013 hashtag and give their thoughts on the designs and models. The event was a great success and our twitterfall added a fun and socially interactive element for the attendees.
