Facebook makes a couple of nice changes

Time after time I log into Facebook and notice something different and it’s usually quite obvious. Before today the most recent change was the introduction of the chat bar down the right hand side of the browser. This morning it happened again but this time it was something more subtle.

VIE At Home is giving Facebook a makeover

Don’t worry you won’t log into your profile one day to find Facebook with blusher and Mascara. Instead VIE at Home (previously Virgin VIE) and KMP Digitata have launched a new Facebook application to help VIE Consultants to advertise their products to their friends.

KMP Digitata and Manchester Airport are flying high with Twitter

Today everyone at KMP Towers were filled with pride as we found out Manchester Airport was voted “Best Airport on Twitter”. We helped launched the @ManAirport Twitter back in 2009 and guided then with their first steps into social media. Just like when one of your children come back from school with their report card we were overjoyed to find out that our child was top of the class.

The Tories make a right #CashGordon of it

The Conservative party has been taught a harsh lesson in how not to use social media and what can happen if you do it wrong or forget the fundamentals.

In an attempt to attack Gordon Brown and his links to the Unite union (currently involved with the BA strikes) the Tories launched the Cash-Gordon website with a scoring system to encourage people to spread the word and the Twitter hashtag #CashGordon
