Much like a store locator on many websites this application can provide the locations of the nearest store or branch but straight away and without having to access the website. All the user would have to do is send a Twitter Direct Message saying their location/area, for example “Manchester”, and they would have the location of the nearest branch sent to them while they are stood on the high street. The location of the nearest branch can also be sent with a link to a Google Location Map allowing the user to find your store easily.

As with the store locator this application can be used to inform people of your nearest cinema complex or theatre. With this application you can also provide the latest information on the movies that are showing in certain cinemas. The twitter user can send their location and the movie they would like to see, for example;

“Manchester. Transformers”

Then the user would receive the latest information on screening times at your nearest complex or theatre with a link to where they can book their tickets online. If the movie is not yet showing they can be sent the release date and other information about it.
