TrekAmerica Live
TrekAmerica wanted to provide both current and potential Trekkers with a platform that enabled them to meet others in their group before travelling, keeping in touch with friends and family whilst away and share photos and videos on return.
Since it’s launch in July 2010 the portal now has 1100+ users who have uploaded more than 2100 photos, written 81 blog posts while on their trips and started more than 500 forum threads.
Trek America Live was awarded “Best Use of Social Media” in the TravelMole Awards 2011.
