Growing facebook fans for one of the UK's leading airports

Voted the “Best Airport on Twitter” Manchester Airport wanted to expand it’s strategy on Facebook to further benefit its 10,000+ fans.

Manchester Airport had been experiencing ever increasing engagement from its Facebook fanbase and so wanted a way to provide them with the information they were seeking and open a potential new revenue stream, with the use of F-Commerce.

The custom tab requires the user to like the page in order to get access to exclusive offers. The “Exclusive offers” tab also provides users with flight information, quick links, the ability to book car parking and access to the airport’s Travel Extra Store. Manchester Airport started to receive bookings and purchases through Facebook immediately.
